1. Load approved HTML ZIP

Use the ZIP produced for your Malouf unit.

2. Connect to Canvas

Not your Canvas API token. The Canvas token remains on the Worker.

Courses are loaded directly from your Canvas account. Selecting a course automatically verifies access.

Safety: pages and the module are created unpublished. Course files are separate Canvas objects and may be visible through Files according to the course's settings. Use a test course first.

3. Review the unit plan

Select a ZIP file to see the pages by week.

4. Build in Canvas

Uploads supporting files, creates or reuses pages, replaces overview links, then adds module headings and items. Keep this tab open. If interrupted, reload the same ZIP and resume.

5. Export existing Canvas lessons to a ZIP (optional, read-only)

Use this to collect an existing Canvas unit overview, linked lesson pages and their supporting files into one ZIP for further lesson development. Uses the admin key from section 2. No course selection is required for extraction when you paste a full Canvas page URL. Documents linked from other courses are included when your Canvas token has permission. No changes are made to Canvas.

Paste a complete Canvas page URL. The exporter reads its course ID automatically; the publishing course dropdown is not used.

If you upload HTML, the page URL is optional but helps resolve relative links. Canvas files are retrieved by file ID, including cross-course links.

The ZIP includes original page HTML, accessible Canvas documents (Word, PowerPoint, PDF and other files, up to 20 MB each / 80 MB total), and a complete link inventory (CSV and Markdown), plus a CSV listing any failed downloads. External sites and Google Docs are recorded as URLs, not downloaded.

Scan an existing Canvas page to discover lesson documents and links.
